Movie Review #33 The Storm Warriors

For every movie there is different version of poster, I believe for different country or purposes they use different poster. I always choose the one that you see in cinema but for some unknown reason, I cant seem to find the official poster for this movie.

The long awaited sequel after 11years...Once in awhile it is good to have movie of this genre. Its a along time since I watch this kind of Wu Lin + swordsmen movie.

Its started off brilliantly until one part of the conversation where it change the image of the movie. From brilliant to cheezy. If u get to watch the movie I am sure u will know which part I am refering to.

Fight and action was good until the bad guy dies. After that the battle btw ekin and aaron was a bit draggy.

Overall quite an ok movie. The animation was over-use. sometime i feel they should keep it simple. Must say the sound effect was good.

Cliche of the movie: Somehow or rather, every single swordsmen movie there have to be a old man who sweeps the floor. and the old man will know some kungfu. cant they have more refreshing idea? mayb mop the floor next time?

Movie Review #32 Zombieland

Another zombie movie! This time in a form of survival and comedy mode. Reminds me of the map in L4D2 Dark carnival.

Somehow I duno how to comment about this movie. Not exactly boring yet not really very exciting either.

I think e female actress rocks!

Movie Review #31 A Christmas Carol

I guess many kids will probably be disappointed with the show. Touted as the christmas festive film, majority of the audience are mainly children. The trailer promise much adventure but instead the whole movie is actually about a story or rather a lesson.

It teaches us to cherish what we have, to be thankful to everything, to help each other.

In fact, I wont even expect the children to understand the story. The story brings mr scrouge back to the past present and future, seeing the whole thing and how miserable he was he decide to change his way of living.

Not much of christmas, but still another unique film, I am impress by the imagination of the producer.

If u guys still remember the previous film the producer done was "polar express" another christmas flick.

Movie Review #30 Ninja Assassing

I always like ninja, so I am definitely not going to miss this 1.

Rain looks like he is from china rather than korea in this movie.

The storyboard is so-so, they tried to hype up the mystery of the clans and assassination but failed.

The effect was good, as u would expect from the matrix production team.

Nice fighting scene and setting.

Rain acting was good, intense and emotional, yet an air of calm and coolness.

The blood use in the movie is like the singapore merlion, free flow. Thankfully its animated, if not i guess the blood could have flood up to the knee level.
