Movie Review #53 How to train your dragon (3D)

I watch this movie at cineleisure 3D version. The 3D spec at cineleisure is horrible, totally blurred with finger print....

The movie itself is pretty much awesome despite the awakward movie title and terribly plain poster.

Great storyline, original, good 3D effect, established character. Probably one of the better animation movie for quite sometime.

Movie Review #51 Alice In Wonderland

Very disappointing. I didnt read alice in wonderland book nor i watch the cartoon when i was young but this movie should be catering for the children, instead they show scene like, the princess spliting into the cup, the mouse poking the enermy eyeball and digging it out.

My goodness, is alice in wonderland really portray in the right way? Thankfully, I didnt catch the 3D version, cos i would be really wasting my money.

This is truely one of the worse weeks for cinema, most of the movie just cant make it.

5 Star : Watch it on weekdays or at senior citizen rate or wait for DVD

Movie Review #50 Green Zone

Probably the first movie that I watch with JH alone. Jh requested the couple seat which I rejected it without any hesitation. I dun wan to end up with the awakard situation which Loo and Pah experienced. After the show end, everybody who is leaving the theatre is looking at Pah and Loo becos they are the only gay couple in the couple seat.

Onto the movie;

Green Zone puts you on the egde of your seat from the start til finish. It's all action' fast paced and the thrill just dun stop. You get to catch a glimpse of a soldier's life in Iraq. They filmed this movie in a 3rd person view, similar to a live broadcast of the actual war, which was really good. Its natural yet it does not makes u go dizzy, tho end of the movie, I felt a slight headache.

7 Star : Impressive, catch it as soon as it hits the shore

Movie Review #49 Up in the Air

This is the kind of movie that doesnt generate much publicity nor attract ppl to watch, but it caught my attention. There is 2 kind of movie, one; those that thrill and excite you, second; those that sets you thinking after watching the film and you learnt things from the movie itself. Honestly I preferred the latter, the kind of movie that is casual and relaxing, and brings you to places and sets your thoughts going.

Up in the air, is about a man's life, some one who is constantly in the air, travelling from places to places. He's job is to fire ppl. When you are up in the air more than staying on your feet, you face 2 situation, the good and the bad

The good, you get to travel, you check in first class hotel, you fly business class to places where I dun even no. Omaha?Witchita?Talsa?Des Monie? you get to know alot of ppl, meet new ppl.

The bad, you are always alone, u seldom see your family, u dun have friends.

Why I love this movie? Simply because I love travel, I would love to lead this kind of life, though not for long but for a few years i really dun mind.

His job is to fire ppl and the best part is to make them feel better after they got fired. you should really see how it is done, it might sound lame but its an art of negotiation after all.

Cosidering the past few valentine's day movie, this movie at least is able to bring out the valentine's day feel.

Simple, sweet and enchanting, featuring hunks and beauty alike.

Movie Review #48 Percy Jackson and the lightning thief

The idea was good but the storyline lacks establishment. The good will always triumph the evil, all the hero has to do is to turn up and in the end he will always win. Exactly how I feel about harry potter as well. tho I must admit harry potter has a more in dept storyline.

6 Star : Fine, worth watching

Its better den 6 but not yet 7 star.

Watchout for The socceror's apprentice, it should be better

Movie Review #47 True Legend

Good fighting scene, but storyline is somewhat far fetch, but then again, they say that tis is wat was recorded in the chinese history.

Should catch this movie if you want to know how drunken fist was established.

After watching this movie, I am beginning to think whether Hip hop dance and street dance derive from drunken fist.
