Movie Review #7 Harry Potter & the half blood prince

I didnt follow the harry potter series, so nothing much to comment abt the story.

I like the way they film the movie, setting, and the music they use.

Movie Review #6 Duplicity

I actually watch the international on plane when i was in hongkong. I always like Clive Owen style. The bad guy acting a good guy style.

This movie e powerhouse actor starr along side with another mercurial actress whom I consider the best combination for the movie. The storyline was pretty simple, double-cross, triple-cross + spy + agents + big project + lots of money.

I like the way the show trys to protray the relationship between Owen and roberts. I like the tension, the "are you lying" & "no! you are the one who is lying" thingy.

The plot itself was pretty weak and kinda of simple. But i feel that for that storyline, this is the best the movie could go.

I also like the way they unfold the story, constantly going back to the past to explained things that happens in the present or was about to happen in the future timeline.

At first i gave it a 2.5 star, but after some thoughts about it...

Movie Review #5 I love you, man

Didnt know much about this movie at all, nv seen the trailer before either, but I just have a feeling that is show would not be that bad.

The storyline is simple yet funny and warm hearted, sweet heart, friends and family.
The conversation is really funny and quite gay. But that is what make the movie funny. For eg, if you dun really click with a guy friend, would you say: 'well guess things just dun work out for us'. It sounds really gay and funny.

Movie Review #4 Drag Me To Hell

I was pretty much attracted to this show by the trailer. The effects and the storyline seems good at first. Sam Raimi, director of Spiderman 1,2,3 , certainly ensure that both the sound effect and the CG looks solid and real.

In the early part of the movie, it was really good and scary. The suspense is definitely there and the use of the sound effect can really scare the hell out of you. As the story progress, things starts to get overdo. When it starts to get cheezy, the fear factor is gone. Certain things doesnt really make sense, if you really need to dig up a grave, would you have gone to a cemetery alone? The corpse and the vomit thing certainly was also overdo.

To sum it up it was a passable movie, but because the trailer was pretty well shot, my expectation of the movie became higher, thus the disppointment.
