This is the kind of movie that doesnt generate much publicity nor attract ppl to watch, but it caught my attention. There is 2 kind of movie, one; those that thrill and excite you, second; those that sets you thinking after watching the film and you learnt things from the movie itself. Honestly I preferred the latter, the kind of movie that is casual and relaxing, and brings you to places and sets your thoughts going.
Up in the air, is about a man's life, some one who is constantly in the air, travelling from places to places. He's job is to fire ppl. When you are up in the air more than staying on your feet, you face 2 situation, the good and the bad
The good, you get to travel, you check in first class hotel, you fly business class to places where I dun even no. Omaha?Witchita?Talsa?Des Monie? you get to know alot of ppl, meet new ppl.
The bad, you are always alone, u seldom see your family, u dun have friends.
Why I love this movie? Simply because I love travel, I would love to lead this kind of life, though not for long but for a few years i really dun mind.
His job is to fire ppl and the best part is to make them feel better after they got fired. you should really see how it is done, it might sound lame but its an art of negotiation after all.
