Movie Review #43 The Vampire Assistant

Among the 5 movie that I marathoned, this is probably the surprise dark horse. Saw the trailer but I wasnt impress, wanted to skip this movie initially, but I thought I should just give it a try.

The setting was great, the cast tho umimpressive (image wise) was good. The movie portrays a mystery and magical feel and I find the storyline unique.

6 Star : Fine, worth watching

Movie Review #42 Did You Hear About The Morgans

The trailer was good and I thought this was going to be a very good show, but it was not to be.

There wasnt any part that was romantic or funny about this romance comedy, that itself says alot.

4 Star : Watch it if you really got the time to burn

Movie Review #41 Treasure Hunter

This movie got to be the 3rd worse movie I ever watched.

Crappy acting, crappy convo, and worst still the storyline is rubbish

1 Star : You would be better serve watching the movie "3 Idiots"

I should have watch the bollywood movie instead.

Movie Review #40 Old Dogs

There isnt any standout comedy this year, so this movie gota be the comedy of the year. There is one part of the movie where I just cant stop laughing for 10-15 min.

Not much of a storyline but the 10-15 min (where I just cant stop laughing) probably makes the up for it.

6 Star : Fine, worth watching

Movie Review #39 Bodyguards and Assassins

Leon Lai really stands out in this movie for his begggar role. Little screen time but I always laugh when ever he appears.

Nicholas Tse acted very well in the show. Seems like he can act in the good guy role as well as the bad guy role (in other movies).

Some the scene in this movie just make me laugh, this movie is based on a real story, but I find it hard to believe that any living person will charge at a horse running at top speed. Perhaps he can just throw something at the horse instead?

Nonetheless a good movie.

Movie Review #38 Sherlock Holmes

A nice movie but the puzzle and mystery just doesnt adds up and the way they solve e mystery just dun have the orhh and oohh effect.

Overall still a good movie, just that my expectation of the movie is pretty high thus the apparent disappointment.

A movie with absolutely no logic at all. The things that happens here doesn't make any sense at all.

The only nice thing about the movie; Hawaii is really a very very beautiful place

I bet very few ppl heard about this movie, let alone catch it.

Planet 51 is actually one of the better animation movie this year. Its pretty funny and at the same time refreshing.

very interesting storyline.

Movie Review #34 Twilight New Moon

Quite a nice show tho many will complaint that it is boring. Its e kind of movie that u have to understand the story and 'feel' the story and emotions in order to have a better appreciation of the movie.

I didnt read the book so I am not sure how much did they follow the original script but some how I feel they could have twist abit of the story or add in more action.

After part 1 i tot there will be more fighting scene but it seems that the story is head away from action and turing into much of a intriguting romance.

Hopefully in the last part of the installment we can catch some rivalry between wolf and vampire fractions.
